203 B1 Business and Conversational English

Hardly any profession today can do without knowledge of the English language.  In many job advertisements, "good and very good English skills" and "Business English" are taken for granted.  In particular, the "ability to express oneself orally", which has often been neglected in the past, has become much more important in a globalized world.  Due to a limited number of participants, it is possible to ensure that sufficient speaking and practice time is available for all participants in the individual forms of exercise. As in previous years, the individual contents and the language level will be adapted to individual needs.
 
No fixed course materials.  I will use lesson plans developed from current business news articles from the Financial Times (UK) which include vocabulary lists and lots of room for open discussions on each theme.  I have included an attachment for an example of what I plan to use. 
 
In addition to the articles, I also have materials for ESP (English for a Special Purpose).  I can customize based on the students’ needs.  For example, if a student has a PowerPoint presentation in English coming up or a business meeting where English will be the language used in the meeting, we can make that the lesson plan for that week and so on.
